The State Railroad Commission will hold a hearing in the matter of the proper level to be maintained in Star Lake, Vilas county, at Star Lake onn September 7th. Following is a copy of the notice received at this office:

"Whereas, informal complaint has been made to the Commission that an old dam at the outlet of Star lake has been removed thereby lowering the level of the lake and that temporary obstructions placed in said outlet by J. W. Oliver have also been removed; and

"Whereas the Commission upon due investigation is of the opinion that facts exist sufficient to warrant a further investigation and hearing with respect to the proper level to be maintained in said lake,

"Now therefore, notice is hereby given that on Sept. 7, 1927, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon at Star Lake, Wisconsin, the Railroad Commission will proceed to hold a hearing iwth respect to the proper level to be mained in said lake, at which time and place all parties interested many [sic] appear and present such testimony and evidence as may be proper in the premises.

"Dated at Madison, Wisconsin this 9th day of August, 1927.
