I am not aware that there was ever a church in Star Lake. However, the Minocqua Times has several references to Rev. D. C. Savage preaching in Star Lake. Rev. D. C. Savage will preach at Star Lake....

Also of interest is a note in the 1907 Annual Report of the Presbyterian Board of Publication and Sabbath-School Work listed in its contributions for May, 1906: "Star Lake Sabbath-school, Wisconsin, $2.47;" Sixth-Ninth Annual Report
