Josephine Shudarek, a 27-year resident of Star Lake, formerly of Stevens Point, died Monday, Feb. 22, 2010, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau. She was 93.
Mrs. Shudarek was born March 16, 1916, in Butternut, to Anton and Victoria Orlos. She married Alex Shudarek Nov. 14, 1938, at St. Casimir Catholic Church in Stevens Point. She worked at UW-Stevens Point cafeteria. Her interests included baking and playing bingo.
Mrs. Shudarek was preceded in death by her son, Herald; four sisters; and one brother.
Survivors include her husband, Alex; two daughters, Pat (Don) Clendenning of Stevens Point and Linda (Dave) Meronek of Custer; two sons, Alex Jr. (Sheri) of Phelps and Joe (Pam) of Stevens Point; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Feb. 24 at St. Maryâs Catholic Church in Sayner.
