“Winter Crew Blasts Way For Summer Projects”

White pine mapping, a new project, has been started by the forestry department of Co. 650 at Star Lake, Wis. The entire area in this corner of Wisconsin will be scouted for stand of white pine, the most valuable timber in the region, so that blister rust control work next summer may be more effective.
