Mat. Harvison of Washta, Ia.. arrived at this place [Star Lake] last Saturday for a visit with his brother the company Dr.

The new hotel is fast nearing completion and iwll soon be ready to receive guests.

The new store building is completed and the goods have been moved into it.

A. E. Williams transacted business at Rhinelander last Friday and Saturday.

The passenger train now runs asa far as this place daily except Sunday and the train crew lays over here.

Mr. G. Tupper's family arrived from Wausau last Thursday, and we are sorry to state that Mrs. Tupper has been quite sick since.

Mr. Kent of Milwaukee, who is putting in the new engine at the mill has it nearly completed.

Quite a large number of new houses are under construction.

A special car from St. Louis, Mo., arrived last Saturday with a number of tourists who will take in the excellent fishing at this place for a week or two.

A number of the C.M.& St. P. officials spent a number of days here last week fishing. SPRAYER.
